Retroeuskal'09 dates has changed. This year's edition will be held on July from 23th to the 26th (Thuesday to Sunday)

We're forced to update previously announced dates due to some changes in Euskal Encounter Party (the mega-event that hosts RetroEuskal). So we look forward to see all you with the best of classic computing from next July the 23th.

If you attended previous editions you'll be there. If you don't know RetroEuskal... you can't affor miss it!

2008 edition of RetroEuskal was held, as usually, in Bilbao (Spain) during July, as part of Euskal Encounter party. We appreciate the opportunity that this big party gives for the spread and enjoyment of this passionating hobby about old computing and videogaming. An special thanks goes to our sponsors, as their help was essential for the success of this event, according to your comments and reviews.

Looking back, RetroEuskal'08 offered all of us (attendants, participants and organizators) a great opportunity, not only to adquire knowledged about old home computing, but also to experiment and enjoy it , as a way to assess its evolution until today's technology.

Once 2008 edition is over, RetroAccion Association is working towards RetroEuskal'09, that will return to Bilbao Exhibition Centre on July 24-27th. Schedule it in your agenda!

Your comments are quite valuable in order to improve RetroEuskal'09 quality for all lovers and newcomers to Retrocomputing field. If you haven't write yours yet, don'h hesitate to do it using contact page of RetroAccion website!

Better later than never, but here is a list of acknowledgements of all the people and organizations that helped us in the making of RetroEuskal'08. We hope not to have forgotten anyone (and, given the case, please do tell us to get it corrected as soon as possible).

At last, the classic videogames tournament could take place after some years of unsuccessful attempts of carrying it out, couldn't be realized because of different reasons.

The great attendance and the good choice of the games did a very attractive, entertaining and, above all, competitive tournament.

At the very same day as the Beijing 2008 olympic games are being opened, the results of the Retrolympics competition organized by RetroEuskal inside the Euskal Encounter are published.

We repeat our greetings to all the contestants because of their sportmanship and olympic spirit. We hope to meet again next year.

The Giant "Space Invaders" game page has been updated. It now shows a summary, statistical data, photos and, specially the spectacular stop-motion video about this live-game played within RetroEuskal'08.
